By using System Design Visualized ("the site") you agree to these terms. They're short on purpose.

Your account

Give a real email address and keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for what happens under your account. One account per person, please.

Acceptable use

• Don't try to break, overload or get around the security of the site, or access other people's data.
• Don't scrape or bulk-download the course content, or republish it as your own.
• Don't use the coach or the simulator to generate spam or anything unlawful.
• Don't game the leaderboard or certificates (scripts, shared accounts, automated answers). We may remove entries and certificates earned that way.

We may suspend accounts that break these rules.

Content

The lessons, animations, questions, code and evaluations are our work, and you may use them for your own learning. The course follows the chapter order of System Design Interview, Vol. 1 by Alex Xu, but all explanations are written from scratch. The site is independent and not affiliated with or endorsed by Alex Xu or ByteByteGo. The designs and notes you create are yours.

Plans and payment

The free plan includes the first chapters, two interview problems, the question bank, flashcards and Daily Design. Pro unlocks everything else and costs ₹299 for 30 days or ₹1,999 for 365 days, prices including all charges.

• Payments are processed by Razorpay. We never see or store your card, UPI or bank details.
• Each payment is a one-time purchase of access for the stated period. Nothing renews automatically: you're never charged again unless you choose to buy again. Buying again while Pro is active adds the new period to the end of the current one.
• Pro is personal to your account and can't be shared or transferred.
• Payments are non-refundable, except a duplicate or failed charge. See the refund and cancellation policy.
• We may change prices for future purchases. A change never affects a period you've already paid for.

Scores and advice

Evaluations, readiness scores and coach replies are learning aids. They're our best effort, not a guarantee of any interview outcome, and the AI coach can be wrong. Use your own judgment.

Availability

We work to keep the site running and your data safe, but the service is provided "as is", without warranties, and we can't promise it will always be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses arising from your use of the site.

Ending

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may change these terms; if a change matters, we'll update this page and its date before it takes effect.
